$12.50
sold out

(2-3’ bare root) Symphoricarpos orbiculatus - Grows to 2-5’ tall. Also known coralberry, buck brush, snowberry and bird’s eye bush, Indian currant is hardy and fast growing. It’s a workhorse for fighting soil erosion and good for pollinators. Indian currant blooms in mid-summer, produces small but pretty flowers, which are pink, white and near white. Fruit will hold well into winter. The nectar is a favorite of the Ruby-throated hummingbird. The fruit is popular with turkey, ruffed grouse, bobwhite, pheasant, robins, and grosbeak. Indian currant is also attractive to bees and butterflies. Flowers are good for cutting. What more could you want in a bush?
